I am a Consultant/Advisor, specializing in Strategic Planning, Strategic Measurement System and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Development, Implementation & Training, with over 35 years working experience in public and private sectors, including telecommunications, IT, banking, project consultants and semi-government.

I served as several managerial posts (Directors, Deputy CEO, COO and General Manager, etc.) and involved in several Strategic/IT Planning & BSC Projects.

Now I am available as a consultant or advisor for public and private sectors.

Education:
Executive MBA in IT & Management (Malaysia & Netherlands), B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science (Malaysia) and Post Diploma in Computer Studies (UK).

BSC/Strategic Plan & Other Key Projects:

a)Worked extensively with a leading Malaysian telecommunications company in various positions and projects/assignments:

- After directly learning from Dr. Norton in 1996, I built Corporate Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and cascaded it into 28 Divisional/Subs BSCs.
- Developed & Implemented all BSCs System.
- Institutionalise & use BSC to communicate and manage Performance, Accountability and Strategy company-wide throughout the nation.
- Set-up a new subsidiary company and developed business portfolio and products.
- Rationalised Outlets from 3 celcos into a single brand & managed 100+ Outlets and Sales throughout the Country.
- Developed a ‘world-class’ Internet Data Centre for hosting sales and services.
- Created a Centre of Excellence (CoE) Business to create and mature the excellence for the Company.

b) Served in a Satellite telecommunications company providing network facilities for Malaysian Government and its agencies
- Developed Strategic Plan, BSC, Business Plans, business processes and Sales Pipeline.

c) Engaged as consultant to developed a Strategic Plan & BSC for a Government agency.

Acquired Latest Skills:
a) Mining his vast experiences, I had initially developed innovative, simple and practical management tools to develop Business Strategy, Strategy Articulation and Strategy Map for C-level executives, Strategic Planning/BSC consultants and MBA students. The tools have been enriched with insights from the new book ‘The Institute Way’.
