Pushkaraj has been a keen outdoor enthusiast. He has done extensive trekking and mountaineering in Sahyadri and Himalaya since 1979 and participated in several rock climbing expeditions in Sahyadri. He has completed an introductory course in whitewater rafting and kayaking. Since 1989, he has worked on more than 400 outdoor developmental programs for various corporate groups in India, Oman, and Dubai. Pushkaraj has also facilitated personal growth labs for B-school students.
