We offer AI-enhancement tools to help polish your writing -- improving clarity, structure, and flow -- but we intentionally don't support generating articles from scratch with AI. We believe your expertise deserves your voice, and we're committed to keeping Expertbase a platform of genuine, human-authored content.

If a client finds and contacts Expertbase through your profile or your articles, we come to you first. If the timing or fit isn't right or we don't hear back from you within a reasonable timeframe (usually one working day), we may suggest alternatives to the client.

No. The Knowledge Brokers invoices the client and pays you your agreed fee within 7 working days of receiving payment from the client.

Yes. You set your day rate or project fee as you see fit. We discuss pricing transparently before anything is confirmed.

Yes. Every profile has a permanent, shareable URL displayed in your browser that you can add to your email signature, LinkedIn, or anywhere else you promote your work.

Profiles typically go live within 1-5 business days after submission. We run a quality check to ensure Expertbase maintains a high-quality standard before your profile goes live.

Yes. We (human) review every application to maintain a credible, high-quality platform. In some cases we may reach out for a brief introductory call or request additional information to support your application to ensure the platform remains trustworthy for clients and experts alike.

When a relevant opportunity arises, we contact you directly by email or messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal with the details. You can then indicate your interest and availability before we discuss anything with the client.

We stay involved throughout. If issues arise around scope, fit, or payment, we act as the intermediary to resolve them -- you are never left to manage disputes with a client alone.

Yes. You can define up to three key competencies, each with its own description, so your profile accurately reflects the full range of your professional expertise.
