He has done his graduation from the University of Allahabad with Economics, English Literature & Political Science. He was a keen participant in several extra-curricular activities of the college, bringing in laurels for debating, elocution, and in quiz competitions. He further went on to do his Masters in Business Administration from the Motilal Nehru Institute of Research & Business Administration, Allahabad.

He carries 24 years of work experience, having started his career as a Management Consultant with the Consulting and Applied Research Division of the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad. He did several diverse consulting assignments during his employment.

Ajai has also worked for Philips India in various capacities, having been exposed to all aspects of Sales Management, product launches, developing the dealer network & new distribution channels. He was also involved in creating and implementing a Training Program for the Philips Dealers to enhance their business skills.

He played a vital role in the launch of the Puma Brand in India. He was responsible for the retail sales in the Northern Region. He has extensive experience of retail management. Inventory management is the key to efficient retailing, and he has done some pioneering work in this area. He also had the challenging task of training the retail sales team.

He has again played a key role in launching the Disney Brand name in India. He worked with the K.K.Modi Group of Companies, in various capacities and various businesses, including the Chief Operating Officer of Modi Films and the Chief Executive of Modi Entertainment. His diverse experience helps him look at problems and situations from multiple perspectives.

He is a Certified Professional Behaviour Analyst, Certified Professional Values Analyst, Certified Attributes Index Analyst (the only one in South Asia). He is a Certified Master Trainer for Achieve Global, Blake & Mouton, Leadership Foundations & Entretel. He is a Certified Coach.

Ajai has travelled widely to Asia, Europe, and the USA on business and pleasure. He is a keen trainer, having conducted programs for over 150 companies and trained over 5000 participants. He is passionate about developing people to achieve their best performance.

He conducts training programs for all levels of management, from Boards of Directors to Management trainees. His behavioural training programs are extremely sought after, and now he is also training and consulting in South East Asian Countries and West Asian Countries.
